Another very similar tool, https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pcspkr-git, was just abandoned today by its AUR PKGBUILD maintainer,

You might have interest in also adopting it.

In October 2016 I changed server and there were some other changes along the way. I fixed some stuff there, at least related to pcspk, so the tarball is reachable now. Actually old URL redirects (302) now to: http://ftp.przemoc.net/pub/software/sound/pcspk/pcspk-0.0.6.tar.gz

I'm also getting 502 err. But I was able to download .zip from its github and use that, which is still ver 0.0.6 (altho md5sums were different..)

Please move everything from /usr/sbin/ to /usr/bin/, and don't create the directory /usr/sbin. Due to Arch Linux filesystem layout which unifies everything at /usr/bin/ and makes /usr/sbin just a symlink. Your PKGBUILD does not work, since it creates /usr/sbin, and installing fails with pcspk: /usr/sbin exists in filesystem (since it is a symlink to bin). AND: Please, also include documentation, e.g. the README (https://github.com/przemoc/pcspk/blob/master/README) to /usr/share/doc/pcspk/.
