I'm seeing the same build error as user jomp16. Is this related to the 32 vs 64 bit discussion that's been happening here, or something else?
jomp16 commented on 2021-03-26 18:32 (UTC)
Hello!
I can't build the package at all, I've tried building in a clean chroot, still can't build it.
What I can do? My google-fu is failing to find out how to fix it.
The error is always:

For right now the current fix would be in ~/.config/PCSX2/inis delete the in files in there. This'll flush all the settings and force it to update the missing info.
I'm working on a PR that'll amend this issue

Hi mate,
I'm having issues the libGSdx.so wasn't found in the expected directory - /usr/lib32/pcsx2/libGSdx.so
I've had this working prior to the changes, so hope it's an easy fix.

For your guy's info. The install dir's have been changed/optimized a bit with the PR's merge. On upgrade let me know if there are any present issues with it.
LaserEyess commented on 2020-12-14 23:25 (UTC)
I guess I can't argue with that. I just made a 64bit-git package here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pcsx2-64bit-git/
I'll most likely delete it if/when PCSX2 developers think 64bit is stable enough to use.
rafaelff commented on 2020-12-14 15:31 (UTC)
Although this is a development version, this package is strives for some stability to allow users to play PS2 games. Enabling resources considered as unstable and undesired by the upstream's own developer team is not in the plans for the packaging of pcsx2-git at the moment.
weirdbeard has good communication with developer team's members, so I recommend trusting his judgement.
Of course, those feeling adventurous to test 64-bit compilation are free to grab the PKGBUILD and change accordingly.

This package now enables Cmake Package mode proper. PCSX2 will here on, be installed in the package standard folders /usr/bin, /usr/share, /usr/lib. Following the XDG standard pcsx2's config files remain in .config/PCSX2
In order to ensure a proper and clean upgrade. Uninstall this package COMPLETELY and clear cache before reinstalling.
