Please update the sha256 hash of EditorV8.x64.msi. Thanks.

@micman Sorry I cannot reproduce, the file is approximately 170 MB and downloads in seconds for me. I'm using vanilla "XferCommand" in pacman.conf. Might be worth checking up.

Hi! For over a month, at any update attempt, I have had this result: " -> Downloading EditorV8.x64.msi... % Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed 100 440 0 440 0 0 491 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 491 9 162M 9 14.9M 0 0 8579 0 5:31:16 0:30:23 5:00:53 0 curl: (56) Recv failure: Connection reset by peer ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://www.tracker-software.com/downloads/EditorV8.x64.msi Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build pdf-xchange." The download rate is VERY slow. What is the problem (and his solution)? I have remained at the 8.0.331.0 version. NB My Internet connection run well.

@schaetzc Thanks for suggestion, it is now implemented. You need to move or delete $HOME/.pdf-xchange for the program to start using $XDG_DATA_HOME/pdf-xchange instead. And you are right about pescepalla:s problem, just delete cache or EditorV8.x64.msi and the problem is solved.

Thank you for this package swearchnick! Makes installing and updating of PDF-XChange very comfortable.

Just one nitpick: It would be great if the wine directory would be $XDG_DATA_HOME/pdf-xchange instead of $HOME/.pdf-xchange as defined by the XDG Base Directory Specification. My home directory is already cluttered with dotfiles.

@pescepalla I had no problems with the current version. The hash from the original PKGBUILD you posted is the same as sha256sum EditorV8.x64.msi for me.

A few months ago I had the same problem as you. However, the version was another one. I also seemed to be the only one suffering from this problem. I solved it by deleting my AUR helper's cache (in my case rm -r ~/.cache/yay/pdf-xchange/).

Version 7.0.328.1 is out and the PKGBUILD no longer works.

Rectification: I don't know why the program crashed two days ago, but now it works well.
