RealOrRandom is right - please update the dependency to python2-pypdf2 (in the AUR).

This seems to need python2-pypdf2 now.

It seams Perseids, gok and CtHx's comments are still in force. If you don't mind the overlap option remove overlap_option.patch and xy_offset.patch. However, If you need the overlap option, you can use the source code at https://gitlab.com/pdftools/pdfposter/tree/d800e72c8deef2f30d0b0c254cc7d5f6138c4839 (It was the latest version on develop branch as of this writing, 0.6.1dev) and apply Jens-Birger Schlie's patch available at https://gitlab.com/pdftools/pdfposter/issues/1 to make the -O (overlap) option work. This version depends on python2-pypdf2, available in AUR. Here you have a suggested PKGBUILD based on the original one. It works for me, but YMMV. https://www.dropbox.com/s/gcw0teobqdhe50i/pdfposter.tar.gz?dl=0 Any suggestion or improvement? You're welcome. cookies, thanks for your work.

Same as gok and CtHx. Tested with `pdfposter 1xA3.pdf 2xA4.pdf -m a4 -p 2x1a4`

Same as CtHx, I could not use pdfposter with overlap_option.patch and xy_offset.patch. It worked after removing them. I tested only with the following command though: "pdfposter -m A3 -p A0 poster.pdf out.pdf"

Seems overlap_option.patch causes errors. I've removed overlap_option.patch and xy_offset.patch, after that I could use this programm.

Update to v0.6.0dev-4, get patches from upstream.

I agree with Hoek, there is a bug... I want pdfposter to create 8 A4 files for an image resized to A1, and the command would be: pdfposter -mA4 -pA1 file.pdf out.pdf Only one of -p/--poster-size and -s/--scale may be given at a time.

Hoek commented on 2012-10-14 21:37 (UTC)

Oh.. ok, thanks =( I thought it wants either -p *or* -s. Well.. Thanks!

This message is printed because you forgot to give pdfposter a SCALE parameter (-s ...), maybe there should be a better error message, but this is an upstream problem.
