I have now added a check for the zpaq depend, as it is in the AUR.

This is because I don't want to make this package dependent on an AUR package, as it's not necessary.

If it was in the official repositories a system version would be used by default instead of the bundled one.

To use the system version, you'll need to install zpaq first, before installing this package.

@DanteDragon Sorry for the late reply.

I'm not sure about the unarchiving error, but sums differ because this package symlinks the system dependencies instead of using the bundles ones (if possible).

I've got error 127 when unarchiving, but if using 7z command in terminal or portable version of peazip - all is working fine. Also hash of binaries are not good.

6 binaries tested.
Some hash of binaries used by PeaZip do not match with expected values:

After dependency change from p7zip to 7zip in the PKGBUILD file, the peazip package fails to install as the dependency '7zip' can't be satisfied!

Can someone expand on this change?

begin-theadventu commented on 2024-08-05 00:56 (UTC)

The issue has been fixed, and I have updated the package!

Now the 7z, brotli and zstd libraries are symlinked with the system binaries, if something is not working properly because of this change, let me know.
