I had to run it with electron11 instead of current version of electron, as otherwise it stays on the blinking logo screen at startup.

Don't know if it's just on my machine, but if someone has the same issue consider changing electron to electron11.

@sastia, @sickcodes, it seems to be upstreamed, and should be fixed in devel branch, so I backported them, should work now, and with electron10(tm).

@Tio, the path to the icon is rather relative, you just need to put your icon theme into correct folder. further reading: https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html

TL;DR, a) assume the icon theme is my_icon_theme, put it into your $HOME/.local/share/icons/ and it should work.

b) assume it is just a single png icon with size 128x128, put it into your $HOME/.local/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/apps/pencil.png

Can you please make the icon path as relative? We are making custom icons for Linux and we can't deal with these non-relative paths. Thanks!

Dear mantainer,

First of all thank you so much for your work! I have a problem with the program. All the options that save files doesn't seem to work. Save or export all do nothing. May be I'm doing something wrong? May be there is some dependency missing? The build of the program works smoothly and without errors.

/usr/share/applications/pencil.desktop has wrong permissions (640 instead of 644), so it's not readable by users and the launcher does not show up in the menu.
