Unfortunately, there is no new upstream version with a fix, yet. However, it seems to be fixed in the repositories: https://github.com/book/Git-Repository/commit/6e813d21123af0fcdda623299898873071b46abc

When building version 1.318-1, many tests in the check() phase fail. (git version: 2.19.1-1)
