I submitted an orphan request and should be able to take ownership hopefully and fix it

I just edited the package build and deleted the check part and it installed fine after that sucks it's not maintained

honestly debating of just copying the entire package and resubmitting it since it's not being updated for 1.5 years

Getting same problem as tichy, anybody know a solution?

Beside adding perl-module-install to the build dependecies, I found that it fails to install.

t/07-build.t ........ ok
t/08-maintainer.t ... 1/4

Installing perl-module-install seems to make this work. Maybe we should add perl-module-install as a build dependency?

Purgator commented on 2017-06-15 09:06

Can't locate inc/Module/ in @INC (you may need to install the inc::Module::Install module) (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/share/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/core_perl /usr/share/perl5/core_perl) at Makefile.PL line 1.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at Makefile.PL line 1.

Could you update ?

I had to install perl-module-install to make this work. Not sure if that's the best approach?
