@askr: It seems as though `perl-xml-treepp` somehow was not properly installed before yaourt ran makepkg; however, I'm not entirely sure how such a situation could have happened.

Thanks to a few new commits on `cpan2aur`'s git repository, the problem should be fixed now.

This is a bug in cpan2aur in that cpan2aur needs $srcdir to be defined outside the functions even though it apparently no longer is that way as of pacman 4.1. I can't really do anything about it until there's a new cpan2aur release that follows the changes in pacman 4.1. As a temporary workaround: edit the PKGBUILD, delete "${srcdir}/" from the declaration of the "_distdir" variable, then paste that before every expansion of "${_distdir}"; there should be only three such expansions so that should be quite simple.
