In version 2.0, nullptrlabs made a decision to cut very useful features (see https://github.com/nullptrlabs/pgmodeler/issues/2072).
Their position is understandable but I still believe it to be a significant regression. @marco44, if possible, could you make another package that is pinned to version 1.2.3?
It was stated that 1.x will no longer get updates but it will be a saving grace to have that version pinned package rather than going into history and grabbing correct pkgbuild.

@marco44 thanks for the update. cmake and clang are missing from the dependency array. Neither is part of base-devel

Build 2.0.0-beta. I hope this works. New build system, stuff I don't understand from cmake. I'm open to suggestions :)

Hey anayrat. On my computer, pgmodeler is linked to the 2.14 version of libxml2. Are you sure you tried to recompile pgmodeler before trying to install libxml2-legacy ? Looks like you had pgmodeler compiled libxml2's previous (2.13) version, then upgraded, and then of course pgmodeler would refuse to start

Hello marco44, I got this error while starting pgmodeler : pgmodeler: error while loading shared libraries: libxml2.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I had to install libxml2-legacy, then it worked.
