ColonelPhantom: Fixed, thanks!

Heads up: I saw this package depending on my dbus-core package, which isn't intended to be used. It's rather intended for old packages that haven't updated their dependencies. Considering this package is still maintained, can you replace the dependency on dbus-core by a dependency on dbus? It prevents the installation of an unneeded dummy package.

Package for Pharo 6 is finally ready, sorry for waiting.

The PKBUILD has an outdated SHA256Sum for PharoV50.source.zip, change the fourth hash for 455c5ca5ee49811fbcd4a5c97cc75f2c9b37cc6dfb882e72909ba93f0054acee

I had to downgrade to stale 4.0.626, 5.x version image is not runnable by released vms.

v5.0.359 is no longer available at pharo.org. v5.0.519 is the latest, but the oldest available is v5.0.496 by the looks: http://files.pharo.org/image/50/

also pharo is saying that I don't have access to /opt/pharo/shared what is up with that. I am on the users group btw

gozes commented on 2015-10-02 09:01

FYI Pharo 5 is out so you should update the package

dundee commented on 2015-05-11 07:40

Thanks, updated.

Checksum seems to be bad. Looking at http://files.pharo.org/platform/ , looks like the zip changed on the 5th of May.

dundee commented on 2015-01-15 10:59

Thanks, updated.

PKGBUILD is outdated, bad checksum and missed package() function.

Here is the working one: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=wD1fyF1y
Please update it.

Regards,
Tano.

Looks like checksums are out of date again

Fails to pass the md5 check for Pharo3.0-linux.zip

bezirg commented on 2014-05-21 12:28

Wikipedia claims Pharo 3.0 is the latest stable release. (released in april 2014)

I can't seem to get Pharo to work on my laptop. It was working when I last used it a couple weeks ago. Whenever I start it I get this error:

could not find module vm-display-X11
/usr/bin/pharo: line 2: 21526 Aborted (core dumped) sh Pharo-1.4-one-click.sh

dundee commented on 2013-01-25 17:04

abbradar: Thanks, fixed.

abbradar commented on 2013-01-03 17:46

I'm getting an error about "src/../pharo.png" not found while building.

farvardin commented on 2011-08-01 09:57

>target not found: lib32-pango

then install lib32-pango! It's in the dependencies. It's working fine for me on a 64 bit system.

Anonymous comment on 2011-07-13 00:05

I'm getting error: target not found: lib32-pango

mereghost commented on 2010-10-10 22:43

Seems to work fine with teh 64bit nas package.

mereghost commented on 2010-10-08 13:52

As soon as I hit home, I'll try it and run the builtin tests of the image to see if them pass and if not the (non-)relation with the lib32-nas

farvardin commented on 2010-10-07 20:12

try this new version, with the native 64 bit version of nas, and please tell me if it works.

farvardin commented on 2010-10-07 19:54

there is a nas package. But I don't know if it works with this release of pharo (in the case it needs only lib32). It must have been deleted from AUR :(

mereghost commented on 2010-10-07 15:07

I couldn't find a lib32-nas either on the multilib repo or on aur.

farvardin commented on 2010-07-30 11:11

You need to be in the users group to be able to save the image.
