You could manually install python2-pillow (and its dependency python2-olefile) both have been removed from the official repositories and i can't submit them to the aur as it still says they are provided by the official repositories.
Try the following PKGBUILDS:python2-olefile, python2-pillow
I'm also going to disown this package now as i haven't used it in a long time now. Maybe start looking for an alternative. Maybe converseen is an option for you: Website | Arch Package

I can't install python2-pillow from the Arch repositories. It says: "python2-pillow 6.2.1-3 is no longer available" and "python2-pillow 6.2.1-3 has been removed from the [community] repository."
What can I do now?

I just pushed a fix for this. But i also thinks it becomes clearer everytime something breaks that maybe it is time to find an alternative. Phatch has not been properly maintained for a few years now. I personally don't use it anymore and will probably not try and fix any upcoming major problems.
If anyone wants to take over this package and maybe even maintain the sourcecode let me know, until then i will try to fix any minor upcoming problems.

I'm getting an error:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/phatch", line 10, in <module> import phatch File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/phatch/init.py", line 25, in <module> init_config_paths() File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/phatch/core/config.py", line 218, in init_config_paths if Image.VERSION < '1.1.7': AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'VERSION'

Looks to me like you only get a warning but not the error
I have the same warning but everything still works for me, if there is an error or something does not work I need more information about it. I think the main problem is that patch was abandoned by its developer a long time ago so it is too be expected that some features will be deprecated at some time and throw warnings or even errors

I get the same failure as "modnar_resu": /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/wx-3.0-gtk3/wx/_core.py:16629: UserWarning: wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch warnings.warn("wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch")
blubbblubb commented on 2018-05-06 13:57 (UTC)
not sure why you receive the Gtk-ERROR, im also receiving the warning, however the program works fine for me.

Installs fine, but I get this error message:
[christof@myhost ~]$ phatch /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/wx-3.0-gtk3/wx/_core.py:16629: UserWarning: wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch warnings.warn("wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch")
(phatch:5223): Gtk-ERROR **: 13:10:51.666: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and GTK+ 3 in the same process is not supported Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

Description should probably be "A simple to use cross-platform GUI Photo Batch Processor."
