@SimpleBR it is very possible this code is quite buggy - it was abandoned by upstream 2 years ago. Though I never encountered the bug you mentioned - I use Dolphin heavily every day to preview videos before editing. It shouldn't mess with MPV in any way since they use different backends for playback.

The video preview works fine, but as a side effect, videos that you try to play by double clicking to watch in some player like MPV sometimes will not launch and report the following error message: "Invalid environment block error".

thank god for this. hated that vlc is the default now.
