@misc That is easily fixable by running
phpcs --config-set installed_paths /usr/share/pear/PHP/CodeSniffer/Standards/PHPCompatibilitymisc commented on 2022-08-26 22:22 (UTC)
This & the phpcompatibilitywp package unfortunately don't install in a way that makes codesniffer actually find the standards.
