@nubs thanks! I'll pick it up for now!

Disowned - if someone would like to take over feel free. Also, I have a github repository setup for this package that may be useful.

I can take over ownership if you'd like. Seems really low maintenance.

@nubs thanks! I've installed and getting roughly the same behavior as the non-official 2.0.0.

Okay, the RC is out for 1.4.0 and this package has been updated for it.

@nubs true. I don't see how this package does any good in it's current state however? This existing package should probably be copied to php5{6,etc}-gnupg and then updated to use the new source for php 7 regardless of being in the official channel or not.

nubs commented on 2016-06-01 11:43 (UTC)

The official pecl channel still has yet to get the update however. Perhaps there should be a php-gnupg-git package for the unreleased version until the PECL package can be updated.

Apparently there is a new release that works with 7.x (not 5.x). https://github.com/Sean-Der/pecl-encryption-gnupg/releases Mentioned here: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=71138

As you can see in the bug report you've linked, the port is partially done. The following PKGBUILD worked for me: http://pastebin.com/dbmk9puX Thanks for your package!

Waiting on upstream availability for PHP 7.0. If you wish, you can track progress at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=71138.
