I had to change PKGBUILD from

makedepends=('pkgconfig>=0.9' 'git' 'automake')

to

makedepends=('pkgconf>=0.9' 'git' 'automake')

Then it builds and runs normally.

@cycleger I had the same issue and fixed it by directly cloning the repo. After doing that, modify the PREFIX variable. Then, comment out the if-statement around line 18 (keep the body). After installing json-c, create a symlink from json-c.pc to json.pc

I'm having problems getting this to install. Recently I installed this on two other computers without a hitch. This time the package json was searched for and not found. It wasn't to be found on the other two computers but there were no issues. Whats changed? Is this on my end or yours?

this is broken upstream, waiting for the new release of pianobar to be merged into pianobarfly. in the mean time, Pianobar-git and pianobar both work
