It seems like this plugin breaks the pidgin UI for me - is anyone else experiencing this problem?

FYI I have adopted the package and updated it per mora978's suggestions (and updated it a little as well.) If anyone has feedback, feel free to create pull requests at https://github.com/tylerjl/pkgbuilds

Oh, that is what ushi did in his updated version...

To make this work, I changed line 20 of the pkgbuild
from
make DESTDIR=$pkgdir/pkg install
to
make DESTDIR=$pkgdir install

bug in PKGBUILD ?
when I install package using yaourt, pidgin-extprefs was installed in /pkg/usr/lib/... instead /usr/lib/.., i had to move files manually.

No objections, the sooner the better.
The PKGBUILD is currently broken, btw: it should use $srcdir and $pkgdir in place of $startdir/{src,pkg}
