for zuzavo: It is better to download new versions of Pidgin and Pidgin-Sipe and install manually. The latest version of Pidgin is 2.14.4. when installing Pidgin-sipe, it will also swear at this error. It is associated with the C libraries. You need to find these files that Pidgin-sipe swears at and manually correct the code (put the number 2: 'g_memdup' - 'g_memdup2') and save the files. Everything. It works for me.

Hi. Unable to install, due this error:

sipe-tls-tester.c:158:3: error: ‘g_memdup’ is obsolete: Use 'g_memdup2' instead [-Werror=deprecated-declarations]

.... ....

Are you still able to share your desktop to others? I no longer have that option anymore, although freerdp is installed.

OK it seems like gtkimhtml doesn't treat \
like \
, so continuous \
will in same line instead of multiple lines. Patch is ready and I will submit to pidgin community.

Not sure it's SIPE issue or pidgin issue. The

in conversation window always appears in same line.

Also found another guy was complaining:

Thank you @ogarcia. Now it works!

@lordchaos and @bobolin seems that is an issue with current libpurple library binary that are using deprecated 'GParameter'.

Fixed now in 1.25.0-2 with the configure patch.
