python-setuptools was delisted as a dependency of this package, it needs to be added again

Hi @Magicrafter13. I still can't reproduce this error. Can you try getting the PKGBUILD and building it manually? Like the following:

yay -G pipman-git
cd pipman-git
makepkg -si

Please let me know if it works

I have the same issue as jithinj.johnson, even after deleting the cache. exit status 4 if that means anything

@dehumanizer thanks! I just updated to include python-setuptools as a dependency

dehumanizer commented on 2024-01-27 15:43 (UTC)

Hi,

Just a minor issue: this actually requires on python-setuptools which is not included in PKGBUILD deps list.

@jithinj.johnson I cannot reproduce this problem. Can you delete the folder /home/jithin/.cache/yay/pipman-git/ and try again?

jithinj.johnson commented on 2022-06-16 13:51 (UTC) (edited on 2022-06-16 13:51 (UTC) by jithinj.johnson)

I added git to makedepends. Thanks!

This package is unbuildable in a clean chroot; adding a makedepends entry for git resolves that.
