the PKGBUILD is out of date since the dependencies are no longer available. Is there any way to compile this or do we need some new packages in aur?

PKGBUILD is not ok. It does seem to work with qt5-quickcontrols/qt5 and ffmpeg 1:2.1.1-3.

Works with reinstallation of ffmpeg. It seems anyway...

When downloading I always get "Error occured". I've tried rebuilding against qtquickcontrols-qt4-git, since that package replaces qtdesktopcomponents-qt4.
Seem to me there's some mismatch with PP and the Arch packages.

qtdesktopcomponents-qt4 is not a dependency anymore, hence this package fails. However, everything seems to work if it is changed to qtdesktopcomponents-qt4-git.

Thanks swanson, I'm reworking the GUI for 0.5.0 and it will scale better (I even have it working on my Android phone).

Dependencies ok now! Thanks!
And I now know what makes the main window size go out of screen - it's the "news" area at the bottom and the length of the individual news lines. If you scroll the "next" bottom and hit a shorter line, the windows can fit in the screen. Can it be fixed?

Dependencies updated.

Yes, depends needs to be qt4 instead of qt and build command needs to be qmake-qt4. Then it compiles fine and seems to work fine.
One issue though; window size nevver seems to be stay within screen size neither on openbox nor Xubuntu.

qt is qt4 now. Please, update the package.
