@MageJohn The patch was merged upstream. I've updated the package. Thanks.

The build is failing due to pitivi-git-fix-locale-on-tests.patch failing to apply with with message Reversed (or previously applied) patch detected!. Looking at the file, the change from the patch seems to be included indeed, and removing the patch from the PKGBUILD solves the issue.

@aleb thank you for the reply and information

Pitivi master requires since 2017 a patched libpeas [1]. We should try again to push to have the fixes merged.

You can find us in #pitivi freenode

I've updated the build system to meson and made some cleanups and improvements to the pkgbuild. The package builds fine, but there are many errors at runtime. Any suggestions for runtime fixes are welcome.

Hi, the update-* scripts you are calling in the install file aren’t needed since pacman 5.0, you can safely remove the install script altogether. :)

Dependency issue: $ pitivi ERROR - The following hard dependencies are unmet: ================================================== - gstgtk not found on the system Missing soft dependency: - pycanberra not found on the system -> enables sound notifications when rendering is complete Installing 'python-pycanberra-git' did not change the message. Thank you for maintaining this package on Arch!

The PKGBUILD has some issues for me, e.g. gst-valitae seems to bee needed, and the pkgver version did not generate a sensible number for me, thus: http://dpaste.com/1A5AW6G

pitivi switched to meson build system, and I updated the PKGBUILD for that: https://www.dropbox.com/s/k040uts3a6ym0lf/PKGBUILD?dl=0 I also removed the now redundant .install file.

@Fraterius: Sorry, you need GtkSink from gst-plugins-bad now. Added it as a dependency.
