The sha512sum for piwik-2.16.2.tar.gz is wrong/outdated.

CarstenF commented on 2015-09-22 08:40

Hello toco.
The pgp-signature is not wrong.
makepkg does not verify the pgp-signature by itself.
You need to import this pgp-key into your pgp.
try: gpg --recv-keys B5DBD5925590A237
before you try to install piwik.

I hope it will help you.

Sincerely Yours
Carsten Feuls

toco commented on 2015-09-21 17:45

Hey there are a error the PGP-Sign is not correct...

how is the valid key?

rpodgorny commented on 2015-02-24 10:22

wow, that's unfortunate. maybe we should link back (as a workaround).

ilpianista commented on 2015-02-24 09:50

With 2.11.1 it seems that /usr/share/webapps/piwik/config/config.php cannot be anymore a symlink.

please update or orphan, thank you...

WARNING: backup entry file not in package : etc/webapps/piwik/config.ini.php

CarstenF commented on 2014-09-16 14:06

Thanks for your Work
Please update the PKGBUILD

package() {
install -d ${pkgdir}${_piwikpath}
cp -r ${srcdir}/$pkgname/ ${pkgdir}${_piwikpath}

the problem is that the hidden files of piwik are missing in the installation directory. i.e. .coveralls.yml

rixx commented on 2014-08-29 13:39

Can't upgrad piwik atm, it complains about files existing in the filesystem. All the files. Starting at "piwik: /usr/share/webapps/piwik/ exists in filesystem" and closing with "piwik: /usr/share/webapps/piwik/plugins/ZenMode/lang/sv.json exists in filesystem".

Mic92 commented on 2014-08-27 21:14

Could you make mariadb an optional dependency? I would like to use this package in an lxc-Container, where mysql runs externally.

rumpelsepp commented on 2014-05-23 19:47

What about symlinking the config file to /etc/webapps/piwik/config.php? You can have a look at e.g. roundcubemail or tt-rss PKGBUILDs.

Did anyone else hit blank white pages with todays php update? I had to roll back to fix. Thanks.

EtiennePerot commented on 2013-02-16 03:48

I reported a bug instead:

xjpvictor commented on 2013-02-14 04:24

@EtiennePerot Maybe a simpler way is explicitly using python2 to execute the script? I'll add an optional dependency of python2 later.

EtiennePerot commented on 2013-02-14 00:01

Also noteworthy is that changing that script's shebang line to python2 makes Piwik's "System check" tab to report it as a modified file (which it should), so maybe that would need to be patched as well?

EtiennePerot commented on 2013-02-13 23:33

Log importer script (piwik/misc/log-analytics/ needs to use python2 on its shebang line.

xjpvictor commented on 2013-01-16 12:13

Updated to 1.10.1
Note: With this version and php 5.4.10 and php-apc 3.1.14, I experience serious segfault issues. Downgrading php-apc solves the problem. I didn't try downgrading piwik however.

xjpvictor commented on 2012-09-01 02:00

@avanc Sorry my mistake. It's now updated.

avanc commented on 2012-08-31 16:25

The md5sum is wrong...

xjpvictor commented on 2012-06-20 15:04

@jryarch: I believe you can find a lot of articles about running php on apache if you google it. Piwik itself does not need any special configuration other than those stated in the installation guide on Or you can make a post on piwik's forum maybe.

Hi, where can I find documentation abount configuring apache and installing it?

xjpvictor commented on 2012-06-04 16:09

Adopted and updated to Version 1.8.1
The directory is moved to /usr/share/webapps/piwik

zorun commented on 2012-04-22 10:40

Orphaned. I don't have the time to make things work properly (put everything in /usr/share/webapps).

zorun commented on 2012-02-21 23:14

1.7 is out; since it's a non-critical release and I've got no time now, I'll only update it in a few days.

I also want to move everything to /usr/share/webapps to conform to what seems a common practice for packaging webapps. I guess the wiki page [1] would need some editing on this point :)

Barthalion commented on 2011-12-10 09:03

Probably symlink would work, but it's better to set path to piwik in server configuration. In example lighttpd offers own symlink features.

zorun commented on 2011-11-27 11:57

Oh, cool, I've always been wondering what was the proper way to do that.

How is the user supposed to use the webapp in /srv/http (or whatever) then? A symlink, or copying the whole directory?

Barthalion commented on 2011-11-27 08:06

I think you should keep phpMyAdmin and cgit scheme, and install files in /usr/share/webapps/piwik at default.

zorun commented on 2011-10-22 12:42

Upgraded to 1.6
According to upstream, this is a major security upgrade. [1]

zorun commented on 2011-08-08 11:51

@koral: upgraded to 1.5.1

zorun commented on 2011-07-21 07:08

@dej: you're welcome ;)

@koral: ack, but I'm currently unable to upgrade the package (holidays...)
And it's only a minor update, see

koral commented on 2011-07-16 15:47

1.5.1 released :)

dej commented on 2011-07-13 20:26

thank you for maintaining this pkg, zorun, i appreciate it :)

zorun commented on 2011-06-23 08:18

Upgraded to 1.5, this version got rid of Flash for graphs! It uses html5/jQuery instead :)

zorun commented on 2011-04-19 14:44

Adopted, and upgraded to the brand new 1.3 version.
