falconindy, sorry about that. I was following the thread on the mailing list, and I thought it would be useful for others that are interested in mkaurball to have a PKGBUILD ready to go. In my post about this package on the mailing list, I offered to hand the package over to you. That offer still stands. I just updated the PKGBUILD to use "make install", so now this package only installs the "mkaurball" executable.

I hoped that this would allow me to use bash variable substitutions like ${var/x/y} in the 'source' array and still have the correct URL displayed in AUR, but it seems that AUR ignores the 'source' line in the generated .AURINFO :-(

I really wish you had talked to me before packaging my own software. The only thing I ever intended to be installed to /usr/bin was the mkaurball script. Some of the other scripts don't even work properly unless you cd to /usr/bin first.

I found a logic bug that prevents you running mkaurball without '-a <argument>' (the argument doesn't matter). I've sent a pull request to falconindy, so it will hopefully be fixed upstream soon.

Thanks for the notice. There were some upstream changes that required fixing here. The upstream repository was renamed, so I uploaded a new package here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pkgbuild-introspection-git/ Use that package instead of this one. The new package builds successfully, but I'm unable to use 'mkaurball' properly. I'm unsure yet whether this is an upstream bug or not. Tomorrow, I can look into this issue further.

The build fails for me with ==> Starting package()... install: cannot stat 'mkaurball': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
