hi, i've rpi 3, its architecture is aarch64. I have compiled and used your package successfully. please add "aarch64" or remplace by "any" in "arch section" of pkgbuild. Thanks.

I created a patch[0] adding a man page. I see myself regularly out of old habit typing man pkgcacheclean, before realising that documentation is only available using --help. If you are pleased with my patch, you can simply apply it running the following: > git am 0001-Add-a-man-page.patch and a new commit will be created adding the man page. since today I get: pkgcacheclean: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Update: I think I've realised it; paccache won't touch .part or .delta files, but pkgcacheclean seems to handle them just right.

Would you add "armv6h" to arch=()? It builds and runs fine on that architecture for me.

From what I know, there are other similiar packages (pkgstats, pkgfile??) where it is useful to have a timer service help for common maintenance of their task. As I see it trimming the pacman cache would share this type of necessity. Is this something you agree with, disagree with? What do you think? Also, if you would be so kind to hear it, I touched-up the PKGBUILD a little. Particularly, I put effort in the description. Do you think that this was a good idea? Thanks, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

If you want to run this on schedule, I suggest using one of the cron services and configure it there. If you don't like the idea of cron daemon, you can always put those two files you created in proper directory in the file system. Or, you can even create a aur package with only those two files to share with others.
