Hello,

  • at the moment this is a disguised -bin pkgbuild and the program is open source, you can both re-upload with -bin suffix and correct this pkgbuild to build from source but this can't stay as it is now
  • provides=("planetary") and conflicts=("planetary") are not needed for for planetary pkgbuild, while for planetary-bin pkgbuild yes
  • source=() is platform specific, please use source_x86_64=() instead
  • skipping hash sums is bad packaging practice, you can autofill with command updpkgsums from pacman-contrib package
  • package() can be one line instead of 3 using: install -Dm755 planetary "$pkgdir/usr/bin"
  • A license like MIT which isn't part of the licenses package need to be installed in "${pkgdir}/usr/share/licenses/${pkgname}"
  • the package is missing the systemd service and timer mentioned in the readme
