With this package, plasma-hud just hangs when you call it, and even running the suggested commands → pressing alt doesn't yield anything.
Appears to be broken?

This depends on appmenu-qt4, which depends on libdbusmenu-qt4, which doesn't exist in the official repos or the AUR. As such, this package is not installable.
My personal solution is to remove the appmenu-qt4 dependency, which seems to work fine for my cases.
