@MarsSeed can you unflag it as out of date? this is only meant for new released versions and not comments, bug reports, feature requests, etc.

Causes everyone to get this message when running pacman/yay:

-> Flagged Out Of Date AUR Packages: plasma5-applets-plasma-pstate

Same thing here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/plasma5-applets-plasma-pstate-git

@Aznorth @guiodic I encountered that bug with the governor selection combobox/dropdown constantly for the last year or two and with no time to deal with it I was so frustrated by it (especially given that governor selection was my most-used function), however the patch I have applied on my AUR package seems to have fully resolved it on all of my systems.

I'm not sure if you are still experiencing that issue, but if so could you try my AUR package and see if that resolves it?

It is here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/plasma5-applets-plasma-pstate-git

All the best! =)

It's conflict with thinkfan. Thinkfan users must not install [Intel P-state and CPU-Freq Manager], which relies on libsmbios. It Will break thinkfan's thinkpad_hwmon temperature sensing.

@guiodic Hi, same here, on both my machines, but it seems quite recent, like a month or two. In fact, there’s a small area at the right of the dropdown-menu button on which I can click to display the menu, but it appears on the right of the button, clipped by the border of the widget.

@franken_fruity Is the development of the widget still active ? The issues tab on Github is hidden, and the last update is two years old.

Have a nice day,

The dropdown menues don't work (governor, thermal mode) so I'm unable to change them.

Hi @franken_fruity @a.kudelin Can't find issues tab here (https://github.com/frankenfruity/plasma-pstate) so reporting here.

Some sensors not working (CPU Load, CPU Freq, Temperature, Fan rpm). Actually only two sensors are working: Intel GPU Freq and Battery Percentage.

I'm using dell xps 13. Plasma 5.23.2 Thermal Management is working too.

Anyway, thanks for great fork!

lm_sensors is installed and working fine btw.

Hi @franken_fruity

I've added you as a co-maintainer. Please commit your changes in PKGBUILD.

I've picked up development of this since it's not being maintained by the original author anymore. I've made many changes and improvements. Maintainers, could you consider updating this package to my fork?

The user xykrr did a pull request for fix the problem in plasma, that is really simply to implement it: https://github.com/jsalatas/plasma-pstate/pull/64 Unfortunately, jsalatas haven't aproved this change yet, and xykrr didn't the change in his repository. I fork the repository and implemented the change of xykrr in https://github.com/brianmsm/plasma-pstate

All works good here.
