v5.0.0 has been released, which ports this wallpaper plugin to Plasma 6.

FTR, v4 has been just released, which uses AVIF instead of HEIF. If you don't need day/night wallpapers, which are available only in v4, you can stick with v3.

The Qt 6.10 release broke building this package. It fails to find a private module.

I was able to fix it by setting a CMake variable when generating the build directory by adding this flag: -DQT_FIND_PRIVATE_MODULES=ON

As per the release notes:

ad7b94e163a CMake: Only load Qt6FooPrivate automatically when building Qt CMake packages of public Qt modules don't provide the targets of their private counterparts anymore. User projects must now call find_package(Qt6 COMPONENTS FooPrivate) to make use of the Qt6::FooPrivate target. User projects that rely on the old behavior can set the CMake variable QT_FIND_PRIVATE_MODULES to ON.
