It seems that the current PKGBUILD doesn't have "depends" section. Additionally, "gst-plugins-good" is missing from optdepends.

I think it's just worth writing down, since people might have issues with video playback with this plugin.

No video issue: Likely related to codecs. While having video background enabled, restart plasmashell manually in CLI. Either use command "QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 plasmashell" or simply "plasmashell". This should give you more information about the problem you have.
