The package is outdated, but I rely on it for updates, as the app internal update option doesn't work for me. Is this the case for everyone?

Maybe this helps someone, as this took me some research as new Linux user how to manually update and could not find Plastic SCM elsewhere:
Manual Update works fine for both needed packages: 1.
git clone2. changepkgver=11.0.16.9832inPKGBUILD(or the current version) 3.updpkgsums4.makepkg -si(sync dependencies and directly install) (creates a pacman install)same for plasticscm-client-core

The version restrictions were carried over when converting from the Debian package. I don't think they matter too much. I removed them, so it should be compatible with any
