We started working upstream on splitting the big community-maintained games collection (that is packaged here) into smaller, thematic collections: https://forge.dotslashplay.it/play.it/games/-/issues/915

One of such new thematic collections is already available: https://git.dotslashplay.it/games-adventure/about/

And another is already under preparation: https://git.dotslashplay.it/games-puzzle/about/

What this means for this package is that by targeting the current state of the git repository the support for many games is lost (more than 100 games, and is not going to stop there), as it has been moved to another upstream repository.

I would suggest either packaging these new thematic collections (preferred solution obviously), or stop packaging this one (if no one has time to maintain the new collections).

The script fails with the following error:

==> Starting prepare()... sed: can't read play.it-2/src/99_init.sh: No such file or directory

I think that file was removed recently. I recommend removing the sed call in the PKGBUILD

Please consider updating the upstream URL to: https://www.dotslashplay.it/

There is a redirect from https://wiki.dotslashplay.it to https://www.dotslashplay.it/ that I plan to maintain in the foreseeable future, but still it would be nice to direct people on the current domain.

Thanks again for your work maintaining these packages ;)
