If you get errors with the build due to patching problems let me know. But i think this should be fine.

I'm a little hesitant to adopt a dead project, as i'm more of packager rather than a developer and don't have the skills to delve deep into the code. But I certainly can at least try to fix this.

After python 3.14 update, playonlinux won't start. get the following error:

AttributeError: module 'urllib.request' has no attribute 'URLopener'

I tried reinstalling python-urllib3 with new python but didn't help.

I take care of the maintenance of the package for the moment, I have just installed it and test it everything looks good, no error. If you have problems do not hesitate to ping me to look at what is blocking.

There is a typo in the source definition, missign a plus sign and https. it should be: source=("${_pkgname}::git+https://github.com/PlayOnLinux/POL-POM-4.git")

I got a message on starting that 'jq' was suggested to be installed. Could you please add that to opt-depends?

The tag for a -git package is send-email meaningless. It will update. Some update .SRCINFO for major point releases, but it is not necessary.
