Same issue as aonsao, I get Audio but no video.

After this last patch it installs but I'm not getting any video. Only audio. Is there a codec or something I need to have installed for MKVs?

@cian1500ww packages already exist for QT 5.9.5: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?K=qt5-pmp

@degeberg: Thanks for integrating the patch from @Yardanico. @cian1500ww that's very good to hear, I hope that dependency is then added to this package, eventually. For the moment downgrading QT works (at least in my XFCE environment) without interfering with other things.

Hi all, I'm working on packaging up an older QT version (5.9.5 is what's officially recommended by Plex) that can live in /opt so this package can be compiled against it (in theory anyway...).

I can confirm that downgrading the packages extra/qt5-* to version 5.13.2, and a reinstallation of this package solved all issues!

As a temporary fix I added qt5-* to IgnorePkg...

Recompiling/Reinstalling was possible using the patched patch from @Yardanico (o_O). And because the curent PKGBUILD does not compile anymore I flagged the package outdated.

BUT problem described by @hps remains: This plex player version seems to be broken, suspectingly because of QT 5.14. I created a bug report upstream: https://github.com/plexinc/plex-media-player/issues/931

Trouble here also... 2.47.0-1 was working, then stopped working with the same symptoms described by @hps, on two computers.

Recompiling/Rebuilding the package failed then as described below. I am trying the patch from @Yardanico now...

Is a problem like that enough to "outdate" the package, to obviously flag it as being bad? Because actually it's not outdated.

It won't even install for me. Same issue with regular & git choice. I'm getting:

Cloning into 'plex-media-player'...
done.
==> Starting prepare()...
error: corrupt patch at line 15
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().
    Aborting...
Error making: plex-media-player-git

@hps I'm having the same problem too.
