@Megver83 Looking great now, thanks for looking into this. No need to apologise, it was only on my older laptop relying on samsung-tools (which depends on this) that I noticed the breakage :)

Package replaced with Manjaro's build https://github.com/udeved/packages-testing/tree/master/pm-utils

Ok glitsj16, I replaced the PKGBUILD with yours I originally took this package from Chakra linux, but the PKGBUILD didn't have package() array, so I just replaced build() with package () Sorry if it looked stupid, I haven't tested this package, but I wanted to bring it here since pm-utils is a dependency of dektop-privileges

Hi, thanks for reviving this package. While it was dropped from AUR I used the debian version (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pm-utils-debian/), which works fine. Your PKGBUILD forgets to add the '--sbindir=/usr/bin' to configure, hence it installs the pm-* binaries under /usr/sbin, breaking the symlink to /usr/bin upon which Arch relies. This broke openvpn systemd service files for me. Might break a lot more, so would you please rectify? There's a few other things that could be improved in your PKGBUILD besides this. Check https://gist.github.com/glitsj16/3c2ac66288a08c8178249cb3e7edb874 for an example.

Thanks :D

@Nierro: This package includes all the changes that Ubuntu made during the 12.04 cycle to reduce battery life. For example, some of the power tweaks shown in PowerTop are enabled by default :) The amount of power savings depends on the computer though. My Dell Studio 1555 does not last any longer on battery, while my Lenovo w520 gets an extra hour of battery life. Hope this helps :)

What is the difference between this package and the [extra] one? Thanks :)
