Update: Unfortunately, upstream has removed python2 compatibility. So i have removed it as well. Id recommend some one make a python2 version, but backporting may be impossible.

I have tested this build in a clean chroot, it built for me on x86_64.

Likely missing a build dependency on python-setuptools.

It seems bison is missing as a dependency - https://www.archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/bison/. Build one, I guess.

be aware, the URI for the sources, and the listed upstream URL don't match...

This package needs some attention. The description not the description for this package. Further, there are typos in the PKGBUILD that need to be rectified to ensure against breakage. Emailing maintainer, will give 1 week to respond before submitting deletion or orphan request.
