Any plans on migrating this PKGBUILD to the new Version stable Version v2.x?

kausban commented on 2020-07-13 08:17

dranion: I will only update the PKGBUILDs for full releases and not ones tagged as beta.

"... and --skipinteg (since idk how to get the integrity check to work)"

You can either manually update the sha sums in the PKGBUILD or use the "updpkgsums" script from pacman-contrib.

Any plans on updating this to the new beta v2.0.0-beta.7? makepkg works fine just changing changing all references to $pkgver to 2.0.0-beta.7 and --skipinteg (since idk how to get the integrity check to work)

Probably something to do with how you use the aur with your helper. See the snapshot ( or clone the repo (git clone

There is a svg file in there now with a minor change in the PKGBUILD.

Hi, thanks for your work. But I didn't find a svg seems it doesn't downloaded.

➜ polar-bookshelf-bin git:(master) ✗ pwd

➜ polar-bookshelf-bin git:(master) ✗ ls

PKGBUILD polar-bookshelf-1.8.0-x64.tar.gz polar-bookshelf-bin-1.8.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz polar-bookshelf.desktop

By the way, cause my netspeed of yay, I download polar-bookshelf tar file from github, and move it to yay cache dir.

@roachsinai I added the icon manually. Hope it looks fine on your KDE frontend now.

Thanks! :)

I never noticed since I do not use an interface that uses app icons. I think the tar.gz release doesn't come with a void icon, I'll see if I can add it manually.
