I will disown all PolyMC packages on the AUR, once the successor to PolyMC (Prism Launcher) has a new release out

I don't think this comment section is the right place to discuss the drama. But in any case, Lenny has reported that his AUR account has been disabled so, as long as it's kept up to date with current releases until such a time that Lenny is able to reclaim ownership of this package, it's fine to continue as is (EDIT: in my opinion).

I also don't believe user accounts are compromised due to this drama, nor were they ever - a lot of stuff is being blown out of proportion, and there's been low blows from both sides of the fence. But again, this is hardly the place to discuss that.

Users are safe, you are being really intellectually dishonest trying to imply that the program is malware because it doesn't have a code of conduct, which are bloat. No one is going to switch to your fork, your dishonesty is untrustworthy.

This is mainly about keeping current users safe. Once the former maintainers and me have prepared a successor, I will personally drop all my involvement with PolyMC.

I think he shouldn't be removed as a co-maintainer. I think removing him as a co-maintainer is equally as petty as what he's doing, if not more petty/malicious.

Done.

glorious-yellow: can you remove LennyMcLennington as a co-maintainer?

Perhaps make qt6-wayland an optional dependency. It is needed to run PolyMC natively on Wayland.

glorious-yellow: Please unflag again. This is a user issue, not a packaging issue
