I adopted the package just to update the version, now looks like it is working fine, and I don't intend to do more.
Hope that @safing (the company) will readopt the package and don't let this happen again. :)

pkgver needs an update to 1.0.0, else you get a url 404 error

I am impressed that not only did I find this program in the AUR but it seems to have been submitted by the developer themselves.
Portmaster uses an internal automatic update mechanism for cross-platform support. This package just installs a component that bootstraps the whole application from the update servers of the developing company. All of updates are signed and verified end-to-end. IMPORTANT: This is a stub package that installs the newest version on install. It is not out of date!
