To help avoid this kind of breakage, consider renaming sources - see package guidelines.

Looks like upstream did an unannounced update. I updated the checksum so it should work now.

I'm not sure exactly what caused this but I'm pretty sure it's an issue with your AUR helper. Clearing the cache did fix it for me, though. Can you try building it manually?

git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/powdertoy-bin.git
cd powdertoy-bin
makepkg -si

edit: Nevermind, now paru is building it correctly for me but makepkg manually isn't. I'll try to figure out what's going on with it

(it Found powder-lin64.zip instead of wgetting it because I restarted the install to send the logs, clearing the cache doesn't help)

ERROR: Failure while downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/master/resources/icon/powder-16.png

Which is the same, if i try to open it from a browser Turns out just yesterday they did a commit modifying it.

In this folder there are the svg icons: https://github.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/tree/master/resources And in this folder the png icons: https://github.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/tree/master/resources/generated_icons

Sorry for the unfortunate timing.

Could this include the icon for the .desktop file? It's available on github: https://github.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/tree/master/resources/icon

I changed it for now. This should just be a temporary fix until the next release that will hopefully use openssl 3.

I got an error that it could not find the shared library libssl.so.1.1. After installing the package openssl-1.1 it worked, perhaps add this to the dependencies?
