@miss_barfin Seems it's not compatible with Qt 5.15 as that's the error it's throwing once you set QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 before running it.

this app seems to be broken in arch linux (inside and outside of aur) i emailed the developers, but until they answer there's nothing that i can do

@ZorinArch weird, for me it works without adding that but i'll add it anyway to make sure it works for everyone, thanks for the fix
ZorinArch commented on 2020-07-21 09:48 (UTC)
I fix the error by adding #!/usr/bin/bash
to first line of poweriso.sh file
#!/usr/bin/bash
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/share/poweriso-gui
export QT_QPA_PLATFORM_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/share/poweriso-gui
cd /usr/share/poweriso-gui
/usr/share/poweriso-gui/poweriso
unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH

This is not an 'any' package, it should be:
arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
This is missing dependencies:
Depends as namcap sees them: depends=(freetype2 hicolor-icon-theme libbsd qt5-base)

For people who need this software, I'm sorry but there is nothing i can do to make it work without breaking your system, this version of poweriso for linux(which is the latest) is super outdated and the company behind this does not seem to be interested in updating this for linux, i recommend using another software like acetoneiso2/brasero/gnome-disk-utility to burn ISOs or view ISO contents, if you really need this software for some reason, you can use the flatpak version which works fine but I really don't recommend that because it's such an old software and it's far from reliable.
