Yeah, you don't even need to change the pkgsums. The file has the same checksum; it just has a new URL. It seems they moved it to cloudfront. If you change the URL in the file it builds fine but I haven't tested the package. I'm unsubscribing from future notifications after this message as I'm not much help here. I did update the Archwiki with directions to use NUT if anyone wants to go that way. Good luck with whatever you do!

If you update the source URL in the PKGBUILD, updpkgsums and then makepkg -s hopefully it'll still build. I stopped maintaining the package as I use network-ups-tools on all my Cyberpower UPS these days.

Package needs a new owner. I am a newbie - not capable enough to adopt. Version 1.3.1-2 is the current version.

Links on Cyberpower website are: (64-bit) and (32-bit)

I was not able to install with Packer

I've disowned the package since I've moved to network-ups-tools.

thanks, jquagga

So, CyberPower is up to version 1.3.1 at the moment. You can basically update the package version in the PKGBUILD and rebuild with the newer version.

That has a couple of other changes; adds the LICENSE file, etc.

PKGBUILD broken again, around line 26 it tries to cd into the unpacked dir, it is something like $startdir/src/$pkgname or something of that sort and the /src needs to be removed from the middle, then builds no prob!

PKGBUILD works without editing, now. Only problem I found was in /etc/powerpanel/ and /etc/powerpanel/; at the bottom, they refer to /etc/ when it should be /etc/powerpanel/

Further to my comment below, I was able to get this package built and installed by modifying the PKGBUILD; see <>.

Per <>. As this is one of only a handful of packages on my system that are in need of patching/PKGBUILD updates, I will attempt to do so personally later in the week if there is no update by that time (I looked at doing so tonight, but it became clear identifying what needed to be changed would be complex in some cases -- or at least, complex for me -- and I lack the time for complex just this second).
