This package is dependent on the Debian repository being updated. As of this writing it is a version behind. For the most up to date version please use the praat package. Note the link in comments there as I am hosting pre-compiled versions of that package in a pacman repository for easy no-compile installation.

praat 6.3.07 (and praat 6.3.08) are available for debian :-) I would suggest to change the source to one with https i.e. https://debian.charite.de/debian

@TheGoliath I realize 6.1.16 is out, but this package is not dependent on the upstream release (note I also maintain the source built praat package) but on the Debian build! Hence it is frequently behind the source package and some releases never show up at all. Please don't flag it without checking the Debian build status for both architectures.
