Don't have time to keep this PKGBUILD updated. Feel free to adopt it.

@Jristz: The version 2.5.1.4-test is, as the name, implies, a test version and only available via the project's Subversion trunk. If you want to use newer versions than the stable 2.5.3 one, please use the prboom-plus-svn package provided by chungy here in the AUR.

http://prboom-plus.sourceforge.net/history.html changelog say they have a new version 2.5.1.4-test [sic]. so I mark this outdated

Can you please remove the freedoom wad. As to make the package smaller and to avoid having multiple copies of freedoom installed.

Please add glu to makedepends

tea commented on 2012-08-14 17:32 (UTC)

This should probably depend on doom1-wad instead of freedoom; doom1-wad is the shareware wad. Also since this is horrible out of date anyway, it needs to be updated or orphaned.

chungy commented on 2011-07-25 23:15 (UTC)

freedoom should be dropped as a makedepends since it will conflict with the id Software doom.wad/doom2.wad. The PKGBUILD should instead check whether /usr/share/doom/doom2.wad exists and if not, install Freedoom or copy their normal Doom II file there.

I found some issues with your tarball. AUR guidelines suggest to not include binaries. Take for example: prboom-plus/prboom-plus.png prboom-plus/prboom-plus-game-server.png Other TUs seems to think an icon or two is okay, but I think you can do better. Please fix this.
