@futuo
Thanks, I'll take your word for it. (I'm not actually using projectm anymore. I'm willing to keep maintaining it since it doesn't need much attention, but it'd be best if this and projectm-jack were properly built in the official repos split package.)

Hey,
Aren't you missing a dependency for "projectm-libvisual"?
At least I had to install that package for this to function correctly
Cheers

Ok, thanks for maintaining!
Comment by kuroneko
Yes, the package in community doesn't provide projectm-libvisual-alsa
Comment by xyproto
Hi, added projectm as a split package in [community]. Is this package still needed? Thanks
Comment by kuroneko
Please use the split PKGBUILD here for projectm and projectm-qt 2.1 https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/30490
Comment by kuroneko
@deons: At the moment, the situation with projectm is a little messy. The way projectm sources are now distributed makes split packages ideal, but AUR does not support split packages, so we need to use separate PKGBUILDs, but the current packages on the AUR are in disarray. There isn't even a projectm on the AUR (>=2.1.0) for me to list as a dependency, and the repos version isn't 2.1.0 yet.
Comment by deons
projectm should be listed as a dependency

Neither this nor projectm-complete work anymore.

It seems that you have to build projectm from abs by hand for this
to work, I will fill a bug report about this.

These projectM packages need a clean up.
@qubodup: Morfeo's pkgbuild in projectm-complete builds fine and projectM-libvisual-alsa works there
