Hi @mqs, thanks for reporting that the version is outdated. I've added renovate to receive notifications, if the package is outdated in future.
You are absolutely right. The user is obsolete and was an copy and paste issue of my AUR package prometheus-bind-exporter. I've removed the sysuser.conf from the PKGBUILD file.

Hi! Could you please update the package to the current version?
I am also curious about the sysusers.conf: the service seems to run as root (probably to be able to access the f2b socket?), so what is the additional user for?
