Hello everyone, version 0.8.0-2 adds support for systemd, so you can just modify 

/etc/conf.d/prometheus-mosquitto-exporter

to fit your needs and start or enable the exporter via 

systemctl start prometheus-mosquitto-exporter.service
systemctl enable --now prometheus-mosquitto-exporter.service

I have also created a PR to upstream these changes: https://github.com/sapcc/mosquitto-exporter/pull/52
