The "chaotic-aur" co-maintainer is a bot that pulls any merged PR in https://github.com/chaotic-aur/pkgbuild-proton-ge-custom-bin back to this package. So if you guys have contributions or bump versions earlier than the maintainer, please share them as PRs. The commits will keep your authorship.

Happy gaming!

This package doesn't work anymore, because new versions use the pressure-vessel wrapper.

This message shows up on the log when running a game:

"pressure-vessel-wrap[9605]: W: Binding directories that are located under "/usr/" is not supported!"

I'd like to point out that arch starts at pkgrel=1, alpine does 0.

Thanks for the help with that typo, @miss_barfin! Fixing my typo seems to be helping considerably with the installation, haha...

@miss_barfin I can become a co-maintainer if you need help. I use proton-ge regularly anyway and already have experience managing packages.

@TerminalTapper no you're having a typo

Is something wrong with this package?

$ yay -S proton-get-custom-bin -> Could not find all required packages: proton-get-custom-bin (Target)

@Strykar because if i use that i and people who have installed it before hotfix wouldn't know that there is a new hotfix and they'll use a buggy version of proton-ge edit: and even if i use it people who have installed it after the hotfix have to spend another 300-400mb of download to update it for no reason it's okay to wait, if you want it to update faster you can become a co-maintainer

Why is this even an issue when upstream provides https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom/releases/download/6.12-GE-1/Proton-6.12-GE-1.sha512sum ?

Because upstream, rather than tag a new (or bugfix etc.) release, will delete artefacts and move tags so they point at a different commit.
