@Varen Have you tried installing the
electron
package to pull its dependencies? If the app works after installing that package, then I have definitely missed some Chromium/Electron dependency (and I did runnamcap
on the package before to get most of the missing dependencies)Varen commented on 2025-01-07 13:58 (UTC) (edited on 2025-01-07 13:58 (UTC) by Varen)
Thanks. I just updated to the latest version - no luck, same issue
Installed the asar package but still no luck unfortunately.
No idea what it is, I've just tried in a VM I set up quickly to test and got the same issue...weird
The flatpak starts just fine, so I believe it is some kind of weird dependency or smth, no idea...will try to gather more info about it
Edit: formatting

@Varen Does installing the
asar
package help with that issue? I don't have your issue on my systemEdit: Even after uninstalling
asar
on my system the problem doesn't appear (so it's maybe something else?)Varen commented on 2025-01-07 09:17 (UTC)

@nervocalm This package packages the official Proton Pass binaries for Arch Linux (while proton-pass should be built from the program's sources but it currently isn't)
I try to update my packages fairly often (but you can do a flag if I missed to do that)

Hi guys! just wanted to know the difference between this package and the proton-pass one. Both seems to have the same source (proton-pass_1.25.0_amd64.deb). I can use either one? Are updates more likely to come more in one than in the other? thank you for all the work and effort.
