i was the one who posted that comment.

that workaround does result in a working prusaslicer installation, but it is just compiling an old commit, so you won't get any of the features introduced after that commit. (which as mentioned in the github issue is 991fa67fd1e71dad6d2d5d10fc6e98ba714f8a9f, from march 24th)

i can't really seem to figure out what the issue is so i hope it will be looked into by someone more knowledgeable soon.

Workaround found upstream: https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/6270

@j12t You should report that upstream. @GelatinousSlime true ! Will fix that.

During startup: "./include/wx/dynarray.h(837): assert "uiIndex < m_nCount" failed in Item()." in the GUI. Then segmentation fault.

Needs git added to makedepends as it fails when building in a clean chroot, or if anyone happens to not have git installed.

For some reason it doesn't launch via the .desktop file. Running prusa-slicer from terminal works fine aside from occasional GTK+ errors/assertions though.

For those having undefined reference at link time : This was an issue upstream I didn't have for some reason (wtf ?). It should be fixed. https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/releases/tag/version_2.3.0

@whoops: You should report the issue upstream, with info about your machine.

Enjoy the last release ! It's really great.

Segfaults during runtime too unless I start it with MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=i965 LC_ALL=C

I can confirm I have the same issue, it has started failing to compile in the last 2-3 days, but the issue is over on PrusaSlicer's Github so it looks like it's not limited to an Arch issue.
