I have made a tagged release for the app and added it as pslab-desktop simply, in case anyone ends up here :)

Thanks, I guess that would also do. I'm okay with deletion if someone requests it. I can just create a regular -git package causing needless load and transfer time on people's storages and Internet connections. It might also be a chance for a bit of a change. After all, guidelines are more lax than fixed rules. :)

make and upload to the AUR pslab-desktop-git, host pslab-desktop-latest pkgbuild elsewhere (github/gitlab/etc..) and make a pinned post in pslab-desktop-git aurweb page.

This kind of pkgbuild are against guidelines and a deletion request can be made at any time and will be accepted with no problems from TU

Yeah that was a tradeoff. Here's the thing: I did some research and found that Arch / makepkg doesn't support shallow cloning. However, this repo is huge because of large binaries in one of the branches. I chose this as a tradeoff. Do you have a better suggestion? I will push a simple pslab-desktop package as soon as we have tagged releases.

hello, please don't upload latest pkgbuild like this, make a VCS -git pkgbuild instead
